Retrofit your 400 watt HID lamp fixture with these LED corn cobs from RAB Lighting. RAB’s LED post tops are versatile, low-cost upgrades for outdated metal halide and high-pressure sodium systems. These lamps are equipped with AUX ports to integrate individual, lamp-level sensor controls. RAB offers microwave (MW) and passive infrared (PIR) sensors for use with their post top LED lamps. All models have 360° beam spread, making this LED bulbs perfect for any type of retrofit installation whether it be base up, down or horizontal. Thermal management is key to extending the life – and thus savings of these lights. RAB’s corn cobs have automated thermal management to reduce their rated down to 70% if the ambient temperature exceeds 110°F and to 50% if they exceed 120°F. Thus, these lamps are rated with 50,000 hour lifespan. That’s 13 years if operated 10 hours daily!
