RAB Lightings canless gimbal and recessed series of LED downlights are small, versatile and economical downlight fixtures. These fixtures have spring-loaded retention tabs that allow installation directly into drywall ceilings of varying thickness. All models are IC rated for direct contact with insulation and suitable for use in wet locations allowing use for both indoor and outdoor use. Each fixture comes with a remote electrical box that houses the LED driver allowing you install the fixtures into shallow plenums. Each downlight is backed by 5-year no compromise warranty.
Change the look and feel of your fixture by switching the color temperature. Each fixture comes with a switch that selects between 2700K warm white, 3000K soft white, 3500K neutral white, 4000K cool white, and 5000K daylight color temperatures.
Installations are really flexible with an off-board driver that minimizes installation height, maximizes thermal management, and eliminates the need for a recessed housing. A plenum-rated cable connector links the downlight module to the remote driver, and then the module snaps into place with the spring-loaded retention tabs. The super-thin design allows for these products to be installed inside shallow plenums.
