The RAB WFR17 Series introduces the first-of-its-kind back-lit wafer downlight, combining the clean look of a wafer with an ultra-economical design. Built for both new construction and remodel applications, its slim, housing-free profile installs quickly with the included remote driver box. A smooth trim and dimmable, high-quality 90 CRI LED deliver consistent, true-to-color illumination. Five selectable color temperatures (2700K–5000K) provide on-site flexibility, while wet location approval ensures versatile use throughout residential and light commercial spaces. Backed by a 3-year limited warranty, the WFR17 Series offers an affordable, reliable solution without compromising performance.
Change the look and feel of your fixture by switching the color temperature. Each fixture comes with a switch that selects between 2700K warm white, 3000K soft white, 3500K neutral white, 4000K cool white, and 5000K daylight color temperatures.
Installations are super flexible with an off-board driver that minimizes installation height, maximizes thermal management, and eliminates the need for a traditional recessed housing or "can". A cable connector links the downlight module to the remote driver, and then the module snaps into place with the adjustable, spring-loaded retention clips.
The wafer's spring-loaded clips are adjustable and designed to be used with various drywall thicknesses. Their long length makes them easy to install, and their design makes sure they stay in place. Wafers even include a flange to compensate for holes that are cut incorrectly.
